Take Me Home 04:29
I was walking through the woods Setting the night on fire Like in that movie With Johnny D You came out from the woods And call me by my name And show me the road Back to the camp Take me home I guess I said I don't know Where the hell I am Than we finally reach the camp And sat around the fire Smoking some good grass To keep us on And I finally fall asleep And everything was dark I float like a bubble Between the stars Take me home I guess I said I don't know Where the hell I am Far from home I guess I am I don't know Where the hell I am

Summer 03:09
When she came over I try to hide Behind a bottle of gin She moved like Summer I find myself In the troubles again I took my steps in the strawberry kingdom She keeps my awake Watching films all night Fried fish for lunch And peaches for breakfast I never knew I can feel so fine But when she came upstairs I'll better take her out Looking for records stores in Milan In the fog How it is that we get lost But when she came upstairs I'll better take her out Looking for records stores in Milan In the fog How it is that we get lost

about

Onceweresixty is an ancient tale about a beatnik biker who live in an old broken toy keyboard found on Luca's basement. Sometimes he talk to us and make us sing weird songs".

You won’t find them on the top of the charts. They won’t wear strange clothes. They’re too busy making laundry at home. 😅

“Making songs makes us feel good. You should try as well. Those are songs for the everyday people. No superheroes. No superegos.” This is how the band introduce the new album that’s both a debut and a (partial) reunion of our beloved mr60.
“The van. A place in which all musician spend lot of days and night traveling around to bring their music on. It seemed to us the perfect point of arrival and re-start to bring out our old and new songs. This one in particular is Our Van! (also known as “fur-go-net-to”)”
“The flood talks about a catastrophe coming fast so that you can just stand still looking at. Even if written before the pandemic, it seems to be very appropriate for that in a way that surprises us too”.

about

UGLYDOG RECORDS Italy

THIS IS UGLYDOGS
Here at uglydogs we do little home made things coming from our own resources and passions. We make/record/play music because we like it. We grow dogs cause we like friends. We go out skateboarding cause we like breeze in the hair. We do grills cause we like meeting people. We put all those things togheter, as deeply connected to our everyday life.
