about

Onceweresixty is an ancient tale about a beatnik biker who live in an old broken toy keyboard found on Luca's basement. Sometimes he talk to us and make us sing weird songs".

You won’t find them on the top of the charts. They won’t wear strange clothes. They’re too busy making laundry at home. 😅

“Making songs makes us feel good. You should try as well. Those are songs for the everyday people. No superheroes. No superegos.” This is how the band introduce the new album that’s both a debut and a (partial) reunion of our beloved mr60.
“The van. A place in which all musician spend lot of days and night traveling around to bring their music on. It seemed to us the perfect point of arrival and re-start to bring out our old and new songs. This one in particular is Our Van! (also known as “fur-go-net-to”)”
“The flood talks about a catastrophe coming fast so that you can just stand still looking at. Even if written before the pandemic, it seems to be very appropriate for that in a way that surprises us too”.

lyrics

Here from the place where I am
At highest floor on the roof
Theve 's nothing much you can do
Just but stand still
When The Flood come

Right from the place where I am
(Right from the place where I am)
I saw the flood come
(I saw the flood come)
It takes away everything in his path
(Takes away everything on his path)
When the flood come
(When the flood come)

about

UGLYDOG RECORDS Italy

THIS IS UGLYDOGS
Here at uglydogs we do little home made things coming from our own resources and passions. We make/record/play music because we like it. We grow dogs cause we like friends. We go out skateboarding cause we like breeze in the hair. We do grills cause we like meeting people. We put all those things togheter, as deeply connected to our everyday life.
